Students of the Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology (LAUTECH) have lamented the recent increment of acceptance fees and purpoted rumour about increment of tuition fees by the institution’s management.
As the crisis in the institution as regards the continued decision of the Dean of Students affair that all Student Association be dissolved before examination continues even as The Academic Staff Union of universities Lautech gets set to Commence Stike action Indefinitely.
The Students Union Government (SUG) president, Bakare Olatunde Solace,disclosed that the institution has stylishly begun an increment of their school fees by increasing the acceptance fees of their newly-admitted students by 50%.
He opined that the state government may be towing the path of the last administration which increased their school fees by about 75%.
Bakare totally condemns this act by the school management and he together with other set of executives wants the general public to be aware of this new development so that they do not say LAUTECH students are always violent or unruly in their behaviour.
